Wedding Wednesday: They're orange!

I promise they are orange! I have received several compliments that are directed towards my red invitations, so I wanted to set the record straight and photograph them again so they look orange. Not sure if I was successful or not, but please know, in real life they are orange :)
Signed, sealed, and (soon to be) delivered! We have licked (yes, I just said licked) about half of the stamps and addressed all of them. I can't wait to get them out the door very soon :)

How and where do you get vintage stamps that are still valid postage? They look beautiful on your invitations.

I used the company "Champion Stamps" .. they have a huge collection!

I hope you dont' mind me asking -- but how much, on average, did it cost to use the vintage stamps? I'm looking at the website you mentioned and some stamps are going for 3 or 4 times their face value! Eeek... I adore the look but I just can't afford to spend $3/each for .42 cents worth of stamps!

The stamps ARE more expensive than face value. We ended up spending $1.50 for each invitation but because that portion of the invite was important to us, we cut back other places. For example, our invite only needed 42cents worth of stamps because we used a smaller size and only 2 cards (postcard reply) ..opposed to a normal invite size with reply card and reply envelope, etc... Hope that helps!
